Read this rootin tootin review, if you’re not a yellow bellied varmint.
Wow. It’s been one week since February 27th, when Jagex opened up FunOrb and this blog really got cranking. In that time, I’ve gotten to reviewing 8 out of the original 18 games (Definitely more to come this week), I’m sure the entire subscriber base for FunOrb has gotten just as hooked on Arcanists as I have, and this blog alone has generated over 1,200 orbers.
I would like to note that, as I would have expected, in same day that Jagex announced FunOrb directly on the Runescape website, the traffic to my website nearly doubled, with a flood of people looking towards the game reviews, most popular being TerraPhoenix and Arcanists.
Now Runescape has a huge community of great people, but as I’ve said before, its public image is tarnished by the vocal minority who use their free speech to just say the most foolish things. But what I have seen in FunOrb today, goes against anything I had earlier anticipated. The community is still awesome and great to have conversations and make jokes with, I’ve had the chance over the past few days to speak, in game, to several Jagex Mods (Mod Craddock, You will face me on the battlefield) and catch a glimpse at the playing style of Runescape idol Zezima (He got owned, by the way)
I would suggest that nobody uses the calendar on this blog as a reference, because it now starts on Wednesday (Launch day)
Here’s to an awesome first week, and more weeks to come.
